Dettifoss is reckoned as one of the powerful waterfalls that exist in the mainland of Europe, its flow is predictable to be about 110,000 gal of water which flow down per second. Dettifoss waterfall is sited in Jökulsárgljúfur National Park located near Mývatn in northeast Iceland on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river that flows from the Vatnajökull glacier which is the island’s longest river. This glacier is said to be the biggest glacier of Iceland.
